What is a S.O.U.L. Clinic?

The Roadscrossing S.O.U.L. Clinic, offered with permission from the Universal Life Church (ULC), the originator of the S.O.U.L. Clinic Concept, is a laboratory for learning to live, more and more, as one's authentic self, by applying methods of the Science(s) Of Understanding Life. At Roadscrossing S.O.U.L. Clinic we practice a variety of counseling methods, and share powerful, yet simple techniques that most people may easily learn and adapt for their own further self-help and growth.

In addition, workshops and classes are offered on shamanic meditation and stress transformation.

Who can benefit from visiting the S.O.U.L. Clinic?

At the S.O.U.L. Clinic we provide ministerial counseling for challenges the soul faces on Earth, and many tools of the Science Of Understanding Life to all who:

  • Are drawn to approaches that honor the soul and the Great Mystery of life

  • Desire help on all levels of being

  • Are seeking a spiritual solution to life challenges

  • Realize that more self-knowledge, in the here and now, will complement all other therapies, treatments, and solutions to challenges

  • Are a clergy person (from any denomination or religion) in need of confidential and compassionate refuge, respite, and peer counseling

How much does it cost?

The first visit is free. Thereafter, we request an affordable donation for each session to cover the cost of having Roadscrossing S.O.U.L. Clinic available in the community on a full time basis. An affordable donation means an amount you can afford to donate as your are moved by Spirit to donate (each visitor decides) rather than any set or sliding fee scale. All contributions go to Companions Circle for the purchase of the time, space, matter, and energy required to keep the S.O.U.L. Clinic and our related non-profit religious, charitable, educational, or scientific non-profit projects open.

The S.O.U.L. Clinic is an excellent resource to consider if you do not have insurance coverage for counseling, or if more assistance is needed after insurance coverage has run out.

At S.O.U.L. Clinic, we do not do "readings" or "fortune telling" or claim any special powers. Rather, we offer many ways for you to find knowledge and healing power within. We do our best to honor all perspectives on spirituality and religion (including no religion), and do not preach any particular dogma. Our only doctrine is to do what is true to self and Life Spirit, without infringing on the rights of others. Our goal is a fuller life for everyone, and we are here to "Live free and set free."

(We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychiatric diseases or attempt to substitute for medical, psychiatric, or other standard licensed treatments.)

The Rev. Elizabeth Cunningham Perkins is a retired social worker, artist, and minister of Companions Circle.
