Welcome Everyone!

Companions Circle is for anyone who practices, teaches, or studies shamanic ways of direct spiritual experience and to all who have an interest in things shamanic. We can be a spiritual home or home while you navigate and voyage your earthy, heavenly, universal ordinary and non-ordinary life journey.

Our History And Tradition: Companions Circle began in 1990 in Milwaukee Wisconsin in the circling around of two and then three (and then one or two more and then a few more) spiritual companions. We began public advertising for new members in 1994. We recover, adapt, and innovate shamanic ways of direct spiritual experience and ongoing revelation. We merge animism, the religion of everything being alive in a sacred way and pantheism, the religion of the divine living everywhere and gnosis, the religion of direct individual and small group experience of Spirit and the Spirits. We practice shamanic ways of accessing the non-ordinary source realms of reality where unlimited potential and infinite possibilities already exist.

Shamanic ways began in pre-history long before the fields of human endeavor branched out, separated, and specialized. Religion, philosophy, science, art, and technology merged into one another in those days. So we draw from many diverse sources and traditions: Prophetic entertainment and spiritual alchemy; Earth, nature, sky, and star honoring spiritual ways of our ancestors; New eco-spiritual and earth-sustaining ways of balanced living in harmony; Community shamanism and shamanic innovations; Frontier science and technology; Cyber- and techno-shamanism; and more.

Our Goals:  To re-balance fun deprived places and situations; restore ways of acknowledgment, blessing, wonder, and ecstasy to earth and universe; and help Ourkind reach for the stars by living shamanic ways.

Our Aspirations:  To live free and help set free; to help dream, drum, and dance voluntary companionship and unanimous covenanting worldwide; to re-create and co-create dynamic resonant harmony and beauty anywhere and everywhere; to breath the Spirit of Aloha.

Our Purpose:  To free, heal, restore, and reveal.

Our Slogans:  Question and quest on...Quest the way of all ways, always...Live situation shamanization...Entertain outwardly to alchemize inwardly...Live inside-out on purpose...Dream the best; Rattle, drum, sing, and dance new dreams to life...Be shamanic shift anywhere and everywhere!
